FAQ for new visitors


1. Why everything is blocked?  How do I get a membership?
chezO is rather a private website for our couple, family and friends, thus you must join in order to access everything.
On the top of the page, click 'join' at the right and choose your 'ID' and 'password'.
Do not worry! We cannot access your password information.
After you register, SooH has to finalize your status by approval, then you will get the full access.

Once you are registered and validated by us, you will be able to access everything! anytime!
(As long as you are logged in, however!)
Please bear in mind that in order to view contents on chezO, you should always log-in.

To protect our privacy and yours, chezO will be open to only our friends and family members.
Anonymous registration of non-related people will not be approved.
Please understand our couple's decision to protect our privacy, while enriching our relationship with you via internet.

3. What is 'chezO'?
ChezO is a private website of JooH & SooH, created as a cyber-home for the couple.
We gave it quite a lot of thoughts on 'naming' this cyberplace, looking for a word, the right one.
Something right, just, perfect, meaningful, complete, dandy, catch....
'chez' is a french word which means a house. Why house?
SooH wanted this website to be a place where we can be together, no matter how far we are apart from each other.
Since the whole idea of launching a web-site was started when JooH went to Paris to study further.
Thus, SooH decided, 'if not possible being together in real, how about on a cyberspace?'

So chezO is the 'O' house, house of 'O'.
Then one might ask, what is 'O'? what does 'O' mean?
'O' is from the fruit, orange. Why the orange?
Orange is one of JooH's favorite fruit.
Also from Joohyun's name, the word 'JooH', plus from Soohwang's name, the word 'hwang'.
When you put the both word together 'joo-hwang' means the orange-color in Korean.
In this sense, chezo means 'orange house'.

Another 'o' is a circle, a round shape.
We hope that our life, style, attitude, personalities to be well-rounded and smooth.
Indeed, especially the relationship between JooH and SooH.
Just like a hoop, a bowling ball, or an orange, we wish our life to be rolling smoothly.
just like an 'O'.
That's why this place is named 'chezO'.


4. JooH & SooH
JooH and SooH came from the first part of our fist name, Joohyun and Soohwang.
One of Jooh's favorite is the Disney character, Pooh.
So, we started to use the initial sound of our first name after the 'Winnie, the Pooh.'

Also, JooH means 'without exception; thoroughly; all over; all around; widely; extensively.'
SooH means 'drill;practice;train;cultivate;exercise'
They both are meaningful and convey our parents' wishes on us.
That's why we named us after JooH & SooH.


5. Weird letters on the website, what are they?
If you do not have 'Korean character-set' in your internet browser, all the contents written in Korean will not be loaded properly.
However, other Korean letters on the menu will be in a right shape, since they are image files, not character-set data.
There is no problem with your PC (or Mac), so do not worry, unless you want to access full data, written in Korean.
If you wish to view everything in correct way, choose 'character' option, under 'view' option, on your menu bar of the browser.
Then, choose 'Korean' character set, and you will be able to read everything fully in Korean.
